using iSync with iCal and Addressbook

iSync is a feature in OS X, that is overlooked by a lot of mac users. You can find the application by typing “iSync” in Spotlight. So here I will explain a little about.

iSync is a little application that allows you to connect your phone via Bluetooth or USB to your mac.  Hereby enabling you to sync your addressbook and calendar with the one on your phone. Click on the link (Default supported Phones) for a full list of default supported phone.

If your phone is not on the list, fear not, a lot of people have provided a number of ways to get their phone working and made the answer available to the rest of us. I should mention that it the mobil company that have to release a plugin to iSync, so that it is possible to use your phone with iSync. However, I have with success implemented: SonyEricsson W580i, K850i and Nokia 6300 into my iSync.

If you need any help finding a plugin just leave a comment, and I will try and help.
