ASB, problems with communication
Thursday, May 29th, 2008The office of examinations had made a change to in my exam schedule 8 days before I was going to the exam. They are allowed to change the exams up till one week before the actual exam date. We, the students, have to look for the changes as Aarhus School of Business (ASB) is not imposed to inform about any changes.
This meant that I, tuesday evening, was informed by one of my co-students that our exam started tuesday morning at 9 a.m. So Wednesday morning I went to the office to ask weather I would be allowed to attend the exam when I hadn’t been there to get the paper the previous day. Our staff is very pleasant and said that it would not be a problem. I would just loose one day. Luckily for me we have got a whole week to do this exam so that meant six days for me.
Although I know that Im supposed to keep myself informed about the exams, I still think it is unreasonable that the days may be change up till one week before the examination date. And I is directly contradicting with the governments idea of having the students finish studying as fast as possible when they do not even bother to inform us about changes! It all works electronically, so it is not very difficult to send a message to the students affected by the change.
