WYD – World Youth Day in Sydney, Australia
Tuesday, July 1st, 2008Today there are less than a week until Im going down-under to the land of the kangaroos =) Im really excited about it. Im traveling in a larger group from Denmark. We will have a break in Bangkok for one night before traveling on to australia.
This is the third time I will be joining in the pilgrimage WYD. My first time was in Toronto, Canada and the second time was in Cologne, Germany. In Toronto I was told that we were about 1.8 million people gathered from all around the world, in Cologne they told me that we were 1.2 million. Both experiences have been very exciting and I have meet so many wonderful and helpful people.
After the WYD I still have a week in Australia to go out and explore near Sidney. So if you know of any exciting places I would really like to know about them. Specially if you know of parachuting or bungee jump! =) So post me a comment…
